A House That Is Not A Home
Join us the evening of September the 17th from seven to ten, for the opening of Genesee, a house that is no longer our home.
Come down to our pistachio-colored 1920’s neoclassical house, located in West Hollywood’s Spaulding Square. Genesee with its central patio and lush garden aims to revisit and update the model of the salon.
The three Artigas siblings are equally involved: Alejandro the oldest, is the architect who remodeled and landscaped the place. He will direct the art and design agenda. Teresita, the middle one, will be in control not only of the kitchen but of homewares and accessories. While Gabriela, the youngest will coordinate all things fashion.
The family has curated and conjured up an interesting set of national and international collaborators: artists, painters, photographers and ceramicists. Designers of clothing, shoes, eyewear, jewelry and furniture, while showcasing work by people in mediums as diverse as plants, words, pencil, markers and food. We even have our own salsa.
